TEC Ready – Fit House Analytics
Albyn Housing Association got some funding from TEC Ready to help fund a part of their ‘Fit House’ project. Read this article to find out more
TEC Ready funded a number of projects as part of its programme of work.
Albyn asked for some funding for a project that will test a fully digital approach to incident and behaviour monitoring at home using a digital platform. As an initial phase, this approach will be tested with 5 clients within a newly built cluster of digitally enabled ‘Fit Homes’. Clients will be fully involved from the beginning and their feedback will provide a crucial element of the outputs.
This pilot will form part of a larger testing phase, the aim of which is to develop a platform that will bring together technology to maximise the benefits of digital telecare for residents across the Highlands and potentially a wider scale.
The project is about to go live with the 5 residents of the fit homes signed up to be part of the test phase of the project. Albyn have changed sensor and digital platform provider during the project and have recorded the lessons learnt throughout the process.
Albyn will move onto the next phase of data collection and analysis once the tenants have
moved into the new homes.
