Housing associations do so much more than provide homes – their work has wide-ranging impacts, and actively contributes to improving the lives of tenants and the wellbeing of communities. To promote this vital work, SFHA is inviting all members to contribute to a campaign to raise awareness of the social and economic impact of housing associations and co-operatives.
The campaign – part of SFHA’s Innovation and Futures Thinking Programme – will share case studies and examples of good practice by the sector in relation to tackling poverty and demonstrating impact.
To do this, we need your help. SFHA is asking that members get in touch with details on any initiatives which tackle poverty inequality or have clear social or economic impact for their tenants. Case studies we receive will be featured on a dedicated ‘social and economic impact’ section on the SFHA website, and may be featured in Housing Scotland Today or in Housing Scotland magazine.
