SFHA Chief Executive recruitment

The SFHA Board has been seeking to recruit a new CEO following Mary Taylor’s intention to retire, announced in September.

Steve Delaney, SFHA Chair, said:

“The panel met the final candidates earlier this week. After much deliberation, the panel took the decision not to appoint at this stage. We will resume a further recruitment process after the festive break.  

“I am pleased to confirm that Mary has agreed to continue in post until June, to allow a smooth transition in due course. We are very grateful to Mary for her ongoing commitment to the SFHA, and I would like to record my appreciation for her flexibility.

“The SFHA continues to be the voice of Scotland’s housing associations and co-operatives and will pursue the key strategic themes affecting the sector, working alongside the Scottish Government, the UK Government, including the DWP, and other stakeholders in public, private and third sectors.”
