Vote for your favourite Pitch Your Workshop ideas next week
Workshops to feature at the SFHA’s annual conference, Housing Scotland 2019.
RSLs, public and third sector organisations were given the opportunity to pitch for a workshop slot at this year’s SFHA annual conference, Housing Scotland 2019. The SFHA has received 13 pitches which are as follows:
Pitch 1: Transforming our communities – using the place standard tool by NHS Scotland
Pitch 2: Mentoring: what’s the point? By Scottish Mentoring Network
Pitch 3: Using employment to tackle homelessness by Kingdom Housing Association
Pitch 4: Communicating Universal Credit to millennials by Albyn Housing Society
Pitch 5: Using empty homes to deliver affordable housing by Shelter Scotland
Pitch 6: Loving housing by Social Bite
Pitch 7: Community-led housing by Community Housing Scotland and Highlands Small Communities Housing Trust
Pitch 8: Allocations policies by NHS Scotland
Pitch 9: Understanding adverse childhood experiences and trauma by NHS Scotland
Pitch 10: Power and human rights in the housing sector by NHS Scotland
Pitch 11: Climate change within the Scottish social housing sector by Keep Scotland Beautiful
Pitch 12: Quids in! By Social Publishing Project
Pitch 13: Housing solutions for disabled people by University of Stirling
In next week’s Housing Scotland Today, SFHA will feature summaries for a selection of pitches each day so that delegates have the chance to read each of the pitched workshops. All pitches and their summaries will also be available to view on the SFHA website via the Housing Scotland 2019 webpage.
Voting will open on Friday 10 May once all the pitches have been featured in the daily e-newsletter. Conference delegates will be invited to vote for the four workshops they would like to see at the conference using the online platform Slido.
Voting will close the following week, on Wednesday 15 May so make sure you get your votes in!
