Campbell Tickell - Case study

Campbell Tickell was commissioned to review and advise on the SFHA’s system for setting membership fees, with considerable support from their members. In order to do this, we consulted widely, and conducted a survey to better understand the views of members. We also contacted a number of non-members to get their views on the membership fees. Our research also involved reviewing fee- setting systems of other membership bodies, in housing and in other sectors, in the UK and beyond. After this research, we devised a new and simple system, and after further consultation the SFHA adopted a version of our proposal which is in its first year of successful implementation.
