Housing Scotland 2018 meet the speaker: Sally Dyson
Sally Dyson is SCVO’s Head of Digital Participation.
The SFHA is delighted to announce Sally Dyson as one of the speakers at its Annual Conference.
Sally is SCVO’s Head of Digital Participation. She leads SCVO’s ambitious strategy to increase the number of people who have basic digital skills and support organisations to do more with digital. A social inclusion professional, Sally’s career has spanned public and third sectors across England and Scotland.
Sally is currently involved in #notwithoutme with Carnegie UK, re-developing the definitions of basic digital skills, developing the UK digital ‘code’ and is strategic lead on One Digital for Scotland.
Sally will be speaking during the final session of the conference which will look at how digital transformation is changing the way we do business and live our lives. Housing associations need to evolve to make the best use of digital technologies in how they deliver services and meet tenants’ needs. Joining Sally are Nick Atkin, from Halton Housing, and Paul Fergus, from John Moores University. Together, the panel will talk to delegates about keeping their digital channels human and understandable for everyone.
This year’s SFHA Annual Conference, entitled Housing Scotland, takes place on 12 and 13 June at the Radisson Blu Hotel in central Glasgow. Residential places start from £595 for SFHA members and £925 for non-members, or you can attend as a day delegate for as little as £270.
