The Scottish Government has published an independent analysis of the written responses it received in relation to the consultation on social security it held between 29 July and 30 October 2016. Carried out by Research Scotland, there were over 500 written responses to the consultation in which the Scottish Government set out five key principles for itself regarding social security in Scotland:
