Gaining access to meet legislative requirements (May 2023)
SFHA commissioned TC Young to produce the briefing Gaining access to meet legislative requirements, which is now available to all SFHA members.
The briefing considers whether a similar procedure (as that used by social landlords for gaining access for the purposes of gas safety checks) can be used by social landlords in connection with obtaining EICRs or in connection with the duties of a social landlords to ensure that their property meets the required standards with regard to fire detection, smoke alarms and heat alarms.
