SFHA attends 1st Meeting of Cross Party Group on Tenement Disrepair
The first meeting of a cross party working group looking at the issue of disrepair in mixed tenure tenements took place at Holyrood on 22 March.
The group was set up after a number of MSPs had met to discuss concerns that constituents were struggling to get essential common repairs carried out in mixed tenure tenements. This issue has also become a big issue for housing associations, many of whom have raised concerns with SFHA that there is no mechanism to get other owners to agree to or contribute to essential common repairs.
