SFHA seek views of finance directors on post-2021 housing programme

SFHA recently brought together a group of finance directors to start a conversation with members about the planning process for the next housing programme – and we’d like your views, too.

One of the reasons for the roundtable was to determine what we should be thinking about in order to have the best discussions and asks of the Scottish Government when it comes to grants and investment in housing in the future.

We will argue for a post-2021 programme and want to be at the forefront of the discussions. We need the next programme to be right for the sector and right for the country.

There has been a commitment within the sector to the 50,000 affordable homes target, but there are different needs in different communities. Should we have bottom up targets? Should we focus on existing stock?
