As part of its ongoing review of Governance Resources provided to members, SFHA is setting up three Governance Forums.
The three groups, available to SFHA members, are outlined below:
- Governance Staff Forum – for CEOs, senior staff and staff with specific governance roles within RSLs
- Chairs Forum – for Chairs, Vice Chairs and aspiring Chairs of RSLs
- Governing Body Members Forum – for committee and board members of RSLs
Initially, these forums will exist as an online space on Microsoft Teams for members to discuss current governance issues with peers, share good practice and receive updates from SFHA.
We have recently been in touch with all of those who were previously members of our Governance Reference Group or Chairs’ Forum. These groups are now being replaced by the above, and we are updating our mailing lists accordingly.
Many thanks to those of you who have already joined one of the groups. We would appreciate it if you could share this article with any staff or governing body member in your organisation who may be interested in signing up, and hope that this will be a valuable resource for our members.
