Housing (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill Reaches Stage 3
Following some minor amendments logged by Scottish Government at Stage 2 (see here), the Housing (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill has reached Stage 3 in the Scottish Parliament.
It is anticipated that stage 3 consideration will take place by early June and the Scottish Government will not be lodging any further amendments. It is therefore hoped that Stage 3 will just be a short debate on a motion that the Bill be passed for Royal Assent. Subject to the motion being agreed, it is anticipated that the Bill to receive Royal Assent four or five weeks later (circa July).
SFHA is pleased that the Bill is progressing as anticipated, and continues to liaise with Scottish Government as it makes its way through Parliament.
