Ofcom has launched a broadband and mobile checker app to help users get the best from their internet connection.
The app accompanies the publication of the second interim Connected Nations Update Report of 2018, and updated data tables which summarise the availability of broadband and mobile services in Scotland and the UK.
This data is summarised in the free app.
The Ofcom broadband and mobile checker app allows users to:
- Easily check indoor/outdoor mobile coverage and availability for voice, 3G and 4G services from all major providers.
- View broadband availability and speeds for any UK address.
- Quickly test the performance and speed of your mobile or broadband connection.
- Get tips on how to improve your internet connection or mobile coverage.
The app can be downloaded for free from the Ofcom website.
