Guidance published: recovering adapted properties
The Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 introduced provisions to make it easier to recover possession of a property that has been designed or adapted for special needs. New guidance is now available.
Adaptations can be expensive to install and remove, and the process can take time which may result in the house being empty and rental income being lost.
