The future of community investment roundtable

SFHA and Centre for Excellence in Community Investment roundtable will look at future of role of housing associations in communities and how this will evolve as we work towards a vision of housing in 2040.

26 November, SFHA office, Glasgow

The Centre for Excellence in Community Investment and SFHA invite you to participate in a roundtable that will look at the future of role of housing associations in communities and how ithis will evolve, over the coming years, as we work towards a vision of housing in 2040.

When the centre talks about community investment, it’s talking about the role of housing associations in communities and all the work that social landlords do with people and communities to help them thrive – be that providing money advice, helping tenants to get online, building social connections, supporting education, training and employment, offering support and advice services, to name but a few.

This roundtable is an opportunity to come together with leading community investment strategists, as well as those working directly in the field, to share your views on the future of community regeneration and wider role work.

This roundtable will link into SFHA’s Innovations and Future Thinking Programme, particularly its Impact Project which is developing an impact measurement approach for the Scottish housing sector. You can find out more about this project on the SFHA website.

At the roundtable, participants will be invited to discuss current priorities as well as what they envisage future priorities to be. It will also reflect on current pain points and what challenges you have to overcome – and how you achieve this.

Finally, we’ll be talking about how we, as a sector, can come together to work collaboratively and creatively to meet the challenges going forward.

Book your place at the roundtable via Eventbrite.
