The Scottish Government’s 50,000 affordable homes target is at the forefront of the minds of everyone working for housing associations, especially those responsible for developing new homes. While the target is a welcome boost to the sector, and will help to meet outstanding need, it is also a real challenge to increase the pace of delivery after a downturn.
