Invitation for funding: Innovative Local Energy Systems
Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme funding call
The latest funding call has been issued by the Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme.
The call has been designed to support and accelerate the development and delivery of innovative, local low carbon energy opportunities across Scotland. In particular, it aims to support solutions in rural and remote parts of Scotland, smaller towns and settlements, and areas that are off gas grid.
Funding will be split into two stages. The first stage will support the development of full investment-ready business proposals and the second stage will support a proportion of the capital costs. The call focuses on Stage 1 funding, with a view to projects advancing towards Stage 2 eligibility. Applications will be considered from private, public and community-led projects.
The closing date for Stage 1 applications is 16 June 2017. More information is available on the Scottish Government website.
