The magnificent seven

The SFHA is proud to introduce the seven apprentices who are going to be facilitating the SFHA Apprentice Challenge 2018.

The challenge will be showcased in the afternoon of the Housing Scotland Apprentice Event which is taking place on Thursday 12 April at the City of Glasgow College’s Riverside Campus.

As well as being an informative event on apprenticeships in the housing sector and investing in young people, the event will highlight the diverse range of skills and ideas that apprentices can bring to an organisation.

Together with Skills Development Scotland’s NTP Partnership Intern, Josephine Grant, and the SFHA’s Business Development Intern, Mollie Stephen, the apprentices have also helped to organise and promote the SFHA’s Apprentice Challenge. They have created the following promotional video to encourage other apprentices to get involved in this year’s challenge. You can watch their video by visiting the SFHA’s YouTube channel.

Josephine Grant said:

“I’ve met up with the apprentices regularly to discuss, shape and organise the event. They have been a great help and have come up with some really insightful ideas.

“Not only will the housing sector be able to find out about apprenticeships at this event, they will be able to meet apprentices and witness them in action during the Apprentice Challenge.”

The seven apprentices will primarily be facilitating each of the apprentice challenge groups, but they will also feature throughout the event.
