Housing associations asked to contribute to the Scotland Low Carbon Heat Database
Zero Waste Scotland appeals for info on heat networks.
In order to collate a Scottish wide register of district heating networks, Zero Waste Scotland would like to request information on heat networks under your management. This information will be used in the Scotland Heat Map, a database tool for organisations, which helps visualise district heating opportunities. The map also supports the planning of Scottish low carbon heat projects and for Scottish Government policy development. Heat networks that are either in development, or already up and running, will be displayed online in the HNP’s Project Directory Map and on the Scotland Heat Map.
The information being requested relates to high level information covering scheme details and location. Personal data held in the Low Carbon Heat Database (contact information such as email addresses), will only be used to request updates and to send you information relevant to updating data in this tool.
Please contact chris@carbonchange.co.uk to let him know if you have a network, or for more information.
