Becoming a SafeContractor-accredited organisation demonstrates that Quay’s health and safety arrangements are up to date and meet both regulatory and legal requirements.

Quay Community Improvements, a social enterprise set up by Port of Leith Housing Association in 2016, has received formal accreditation from SafeContractor for its rigorous approach to health and safety.

Becoming a SafeContractor-accredited organisation demonstrates that Quay’s health and safety arrangements are up to date and meet both regulatory and legal requirements.

Clare Halliday, Business & Communities Initiatives Manager, said:

“I’m really proud that with our first 18 months of successful trading under our belts, we have been in a position to review all of our health and safety polices, and the practices of our teams out on site.

“Following this review and the audit by SafeContractor, we are pleased to share the news that we have received this important accreditation which shows our customers and our staff that we take health and safety very seriously.”
