Scottish Government is currently consulting on possible amendments to Freedom of Information legislation. Its Access to Information Rights in Scotland consultation closes on Tuesday 16 March and SFHA will be submitting a response. We will be seeking member views and bringing together a meeting in early March to discuss further. We have also commissioned TC Young to provide legal input as we draft our response.

Following the publication of the revised Social Housing Charter, the SHR has advised all RSLs that there will be no changes to the ARC submission as a result.
The SHR has published the Annual Assurance Statements submitted this year by all RSLs.
The Scottish Housing Regulator has established two new groups (in addition to its systemic forum) to meet with RSLs on a regular basis.
This will help to inform our policy priorities and any further support needed for the sector.
