In March 2019, SFHA submitted a response to the Scottish Charity Law consultation. Scottish Government has issued a survey to follow up on some of the points in the original consultation, and SFHA has submitted a response.
SFHA issued a survey to all members at the end of 2020, asking for views on the Model Code of Conduct for Governing Body Members, the Model Code of Conduct for Staff and the Model Entitlements Payments and Benefits Policy. On 12 February, a working group of members met with SFHA and Linda Ewart to discuss the results of the survey and agree next steps for the review of the model policies.
SFHA's Senior Staff Succession Planning guidance is now available to all SFHA members. This guidance, originally published in 2019, has been updated with input from a group of SFHA members. The revisions were drafted by Linda Ewart on behalf of SFHA.
