New report released on Scottish Housing Day says housing must be a human right.
The new commitment was agreed between Mears and the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) and Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Associations (GWSF).
SFHA/Wise Group information session aims to create links between RSLs in Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East/West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire and the Scottish Government's national employability service.
The debate will hear from Sally Thomas, Chief Executive of SFHA, Convenor of the Scottish Youth Parliament's Social Security Committee Ryan Kelly MSYP, and co-chair of the National Taskforce for Human Rights Leadership, Professor Alan Miller, as they share their thoughts on housing as a human right.
The Scottish Parliament Social Security Committee has launched an inquiry into benefit take-up and has put out a call for evidence.
Support for RSLs in Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East/West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire to help tenants with employability.
