Visitors included key stakeholders involved in the renovation project, neighbours and members of the local community who were invited to see first-hand the transformation of this magnificent art deco listed building.
Located on the site of the former Diageo Distillery, the £21 million project is underway to create 90 ultra-low energy one to three-bedroom homes and is a key part of a wider masterplan to regenerate the north of Glasgow city centre.
Tenants move into village properties at Graham Lambie Brae
It was a successful evening for Link, as Bunston Grove, in Greenock, was awarded Housing Regeneration Project of the Year and Large Affordable Housing Development of the Year.
The tour was put together for rural and islands members to network and promote learning through visiting innovative projects and developments.
The benchmarks form part of a new set of guidance which detail the process for planning the delivery of grant-funded homes for social rent, mid-market rent and new supply shared equity through the Affordable Housing Supply Programme.
The 60 affordable new homes, all for social rent, have been designed to support Clackmannanshire Council’s sustainable ageing policy, created to help people live independently in their own homes for longer.
