Delivering the Mission: Navigating our Way in Uncertain Times
About the conference
Housing associations and co-operatives have always had a strong social purpose at their heart. We tackle poverty every day, create thriving communities and provide stability to those who need it most.
But in unstable times:
- How do we continue to go about achieving our mission?
How do we deliver the social homes needed in an ever more challenging climate?
How can we Aadequately support tenants when the cost-of-living crisis shows no sign of abating?
With political, financial and social upheaval, SFHA’s annual conference will explore how the sector can come together to meet these challenges and, crucially, how its leaders can continue to forge the way forward to a more socially just Scotland.
The conference will also include an extensive exhibition which will offer delegates the opportunity to discover innovative solutions, products and services. It will also form
the networking hub of the conference.
Speaker Annoucement: Alistair Campbell
Renowned author, journalist, and strategist, Alastair Campbell will deliver the keynote speech at this year's conference.
Alastair is perhaps best known for his time working in the last Labour government, and is now a renowned writer, consultant and mental health campaigner. He will shed light on his own experiences of overcoming adversity as part of the conference’s wider theme of ‘Navigating Our Way in Uncertain Times’.
Alastair Campbell said: “I’m looking forward to speaking to housing leaders at SFHA’s Annual Conference, to share my own insights about navigating through difficult times - and coming out the other side stronger.”
