About the Event

  • Does your Housing Association want to be seen as one that is passionate about helping create employment and training opportunities for disadvantaged young people?
  • Can we help your Housing association meet procurement objectives by engaging a Supported Business?
  • Would a good news story about engaging a supported Business look great on your website?

YES Works can be the solution to the above questions - they provide sustainable work and training opportunities for those most disengaged young people.  This breakfast briefing on 25th August, in association with the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, will highlight the impact that YES Works has had as it has developed a Social Enterprise that delivers premium quality Landscape Gardening services to local authorities, housing associations, business as well as private homes in the West of Scotland.

Attendees will learn about the great work that YES Works does in recruiting, training and retaining young people from the most challenged of backgrounds. It will also be an opportunity to learn about how by engaging YES Works they will not only deliver you a high quality product they also help develop young people through their Social Business model. You can be assured that by engaging YES Works to deliver a service in your Housing Association you are helping to put something back into your community.

Is This the Event for You?

The event is exclusively available to SFHA housing association and co-operative members and is FREE to attend. It is aimed at those involved in the decisions around the procurement of services.
