About the forum
The SFHA Governance Forum exists to give SFHA members the chance to meet to learn about current issues, share common challenges and share best practice. The forum will meet quarterly (online at present) and is open to all RSL staff who work for an SFHA member organisation. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday 13 September at 11am.
This Forum will be of particular interest to staff who have responsibility for governance within an organisation or who work in a governance specific role.
Whilst the agenda for the first meeting is still being agreed, topics that will be covered include next steps for SFHA's Get Governance programme of guidance, SFHA's upcoming induction training for governing body members and SFHA's ongoing research looking at the regulatory framework in practice. It will also include a chat about the remit and preferences for the format of the group moving forward.
