About the Training

While evictions are always a last resort, social landlords must be aware of the relevant law which applies in this field.

In this session we will consider the grounds for eviction which are open to registered social landlords and explain how they can be used.

Training outcomes

This particular training will concentrate on rent arrears.

  • We will detail the relevant pre-court steps which require to be taken including the pre-action requirements which now apply and the relevant notices which must be prepared and served.
  • We will also look at case law and the whole court process and draw directly from the extensive experience of our presenter.
  • By the end of this session attendees will be familiar with the basics of eviction law, rent arrears and the processes required to be in place.
