About the Conference
An SFHA, SHARE and GWSF partnership forms the Scottish Factoring Network which provides support for housing practitioners and social housing organisations who are involved in delivering factoring services to owners.
Returning for its 7th year the conference will provide delegates with an update on the policy and legal developments through strategic plenary sessions as well as providing pragmatic operational advice, with a selection of practical workshops.
The conference offers an excellent opportunity for delegates to network with others working in factoring from around the country and to get face to face expert opinion on issues surrounding factoring.

This event is a must for anyone working in housing management, housing finance, maintenance and asset management and anyone involved in factoring or organisation who are considering introducing this service.
Date & Venue
The conference takes place on the 29 November and will be returning to the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow City Centre. The Grand Central Hotel is close to all transport links including Central Station, Queen Street Station and Buchanan Bus Station.
Costs & How to Book
The delegate fee starts at £239 for members of SFHA, SHARE and GWSF (£329 for non members) which includes attendance, lunch and all refreshments.
However if you book before 4 October members pay £229 and non members pay £319!

Part of his role with Places for People Group has seen new initiatives introduced to maximise the use of the existing assets and addressing many of the hard to treat properties from its diverse asset base to meet EESSH standards.
Chris is a Trustee of the Crags Sports Centre, a community managed resource within the Southside of Edinburgh.

Jacqueline Stirling, Factoring Officer, leads the Factoring Team at Govan Housing Association. She joined the Association in 2002 and has been managing the Associations factoring portfolio for over 17 years. An Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Managers, Jacqueline also sits on the IRPM working group for Scotland representing Housing Associations.Read More
As well as managing the day to day factoring operations she also has a key role in achieving the Associations partnership strategy with the Local Authority to help address the deterioration in condition of the pre 1919 tenement stock and the surrounding environment, which includes tackling unfactored properties.
