Please join us on Friday 21st June at 9.30 to hear more about the Forum’s work to date from co-chairs Denise Fowler (CEO Women’s Pioneer Housing) and Zaiba Qureshi (CEO Housing for Women), discuss your experiences and perspectives, and help us to make the case for change.
We know that women are more likely to be in poverty than men, more likely to be in part-time or zero hours contract jobs, and more likely to be in lower-paying jobs. We also know that they are more likely to be ‘hidden homeless’ and under-reported from a rough sleeping perspective. All of these facts impact on women’s ability to get stable, secure accommodation that is suitable for their circumstances.
The Women’s Housing Forum has been developed by a group of like-minded individuals who are concerned about this situation and want to understand it better in order to effect change.
