COVID-19 has tested our sector like no other pandemic or issue before. Our services, workforces, systems, ways of working and approaches to leadership and management have transformed within weeks to ensure that we continued to provide our vital services.
So what can we learn from our shared experiences, what must we change and how can we plan for the next black swan?
For the first time ever, the Four Federations are holding a virtual event, the Big Housing Conversation, where just under 1,000 members from across Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland are invited to discuss, to learn, to harness our influence, to share and reflect on the key issues that tested our sectors and to also be proud of what we have achieved.
Through these conversations, we want to harness the power of our Four Federations to give us courage, so that we are ready for the next challenge.
Come and Be a Part of our Big Housing Conversation on 22 October.
Chaired by Martin Hilditch, Editor of Inside Housing, delegates will hear from the Chief Executives of the Four Federations, each with their own unique perspective of the past six months.
We'll be running sub plenaries which will focus on:
- Innovation and Digital Engagement
- Governance and Risk
- Tenant Re-Engagement
- Modern Leadership Post Covid.
We'll finish the conversation with a look to the future, post Covid and what that could mean for our sector.
