About the training

In partnership with Scottish Women's Aid, we are running two training sessions developed for those working in social housing.

This training is targeted at supporting leaders and decision makers in the social housing response to domestic abuse

This second training session will cover: 

  • Consideration of barriers to effective responses
  • Changing the discourse  - how to shift culture & implement attitudinal change
  • Guidance for good practice approaches in partnership, prevention and policy
  • Implementation and embedding of training
  • Risk assessment
  • Employment matters – how domestic abuse informed practice can support workforce morale and productivity

This session is tailored to Supervisors, Team Leaders, Managers and Decision Makers.

Costs & how to book

The training costs £125 for SFHA members and £189 for non members. It will take place on Tuesday 9  November from 1.00pm - 3.30pm.

You will receive the link for each session around 24 hours the session is due to start which you will use on the day to access it.

We are broadcasting this session on Zoom.
