Open to all SFHA Members, this Housing Management Forum took place in the Tayside, Grampian and Fife region.
In focus at this SFHA Housing Management Forum was employability.
SFHA was delighted to welcome Remploy to the forum to talk to members about the Scottish Government's No-One Left Behind strategy.
The presentation delivered during the session is available at the download section of the SFHA website.
Clear close policies
Some members police a strict clear close policy- removing items from closes once people have been asked to move them. These items are often stored and tenants given a chance to collect them.
Caution was advised, as if the property was damaged, tenants could claim damages from the landlord.
Evictions and Storage
Most people there stored personal possessions where an eviction was taking place. On member highlighted they would only store items of value over £500.
