Digital forum guidelines

Welcome to our new digital forums – a space designed for members to connect, share ideas and support each other.

To keep discussions productive, respectful and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines.

Be Respectful

Treat your fellow members with kindness and professionalism. Debate is welcome, but offensive language or discrimination of any kind won’t be tolerated.

Share constructively

Any feedback, experiences, insights and helpful advice should be constructive, and solutions focused.

Be supportive

Encourage peer-to-peer learning by answering questions and sharing resources to help us build a supportive community.

Don’t share private information

While your name, organisation and title are visible, we don’t recommend sharing personal or sensitive information – yours or anyone else’s.  If a conversation requires private details, please communicate directly outside of the digital forums space.

Report issues

While we are extremely unlikely to experience posts of an offensive nature among members, if you do see something that doesn’t feel appropriate or causes you concern, please report it to communications@sfha.co.uk so we can keep the space safe and welcoming.

By following these guidelines, we can create an engaging, safe and valuable space for all our members.  We look forward to your contributions.
