Job description
We are looking for volunteers to join our Board. The Board, which leads our organisation, meets monthly. Training and support will be provided where needed.

If you are committed to excellence in the provision of housing and want to play an important and rewarding role in a successful and ambitious charitable organisation, we would like to hear from you. We wish to recruit new Board Members and are keen to hear from people with any skills, knowledge and experience in any of the following areas:

• Financial Management
• Human Resource Management
• Development
• Senior Officer expertise

We are particularly looking for any of our current tenants who feel that they would like to be involved in the decision-making process of the organisation and make a difference in their community. Above all, we need people who are passionate about providing excellent affordable homes and services for our community.

In the first instance, most successful applicants will join the Board as co-optees, until formal election is confirmed by the Membership at the AGM in September. Board Members are expected to attend ten evening meetings in the year and our annual planning and review meetings. Board meetings are held in person with the option of attending virtually.

Although this is an un-paid voluntary position, Board Members are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses.
