Post 2 – Fixed term for 12 months
£43,372.00 to £54,215.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.
Hours of work: 35 per week, Monday to Friday

Link is looking for experienced Health and Safety Officers to provide expert advice on health, safety and welfare issues across Link’s operations including trades, housing management, lone working and asbestos management.
The successful candidate will ensure effective and compliant implementation of policies and procedures to support safe working.
The role involves developing and rolling out a programme of dynamic workplace inspections, providing corrective advice and guidance where necessary. In additional, the postholder will develop and deliver training and updates to support and encourage safe working practices.
About You
Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent and an IOSH member at Technical or Graduate level, you will have detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation as well as experience of providing expert advice to managers and colleagues on health and safety issues.
Experience of working within a large multi-functional organisation over multiple locations and conducting workplace safety inspections is essential for this role therefore strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills are required.
The postholder will have experience of delivering health and safety training to management and colleagues, utilising their excellent communication skills.
You must be able to travel between different site locations.
