Job description
Loreburn was formed in 1982 and is a registered social landlord (RSL) and Scottish charity. We are proud to have been providing homes for over 40 years and over those four decades we remain as committed as ever to our tenants throughout Dumfries & Galloway, where we now provide over 2,600 homes. We remain firmly rooted in being a community anchor, creating thriving neighbourhoods and places that our tenants are proud to call home.
Our focus is our tenants, ensuring that the quality of their homes is maintained and the service they receive is tenant focused and personalised to their needs. As a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation, it means we reinvest into the homes we provide and help communities to prosper.
We are led by an ambitious and dedicated Management Committee who set our direction and strategies, scrutinise our performance and oversee risk and audit to ensure Loreburn are well-positioned to deliver GREAT outcomes for tenants.
Our Management Committee are seeking new volunteer Members who can provide strong, focussed governance and bring a range of experience and specialist knowledge to help shape our future success.
We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with experience in housing services, customer service, HR and business management or digital transformation as well as good interpersonal skills and a desire to build positive working partnerships and support the Executive Team to deliver our strategic ambitions. We are always looking to widen the diversity of our board to gain a broader representation of the communities we serve.
We will be hosting an open event on Microsoft Teams on 1st May at 6pm where you can come along and meet our Executive Team and hear directly from Members of our Management Committee and find out lots more about what is involved in being a Member.
