Kilmarnock based social landlord Atrium Homes held its 23rd Annual General meeting at the end of September 2021.

The meeting was a socially distanced affair, held in Atrium’s offices. The members present heard from Joe Keen, Chair of Atrium Homes as he introduced an Annual Report which outlined some of the difficulties, but also many of the successes of the last year. Mr Keen commented: “Despite the difficulties presented by the pandemic the organisation has been able to achieve a lot of its objectives for the year. And whilst virtual Board meetings were a success, it is great to be face to face with members again at the AGM”.

Mr Keen highlighted that Atrium had continued to support its tenants through a very difficult period. In addition, it conducted a full review of its reactive and voids repairs service, including procuring a new set of contractors and completing and allocating a new build development of 27 units. Other notable successes were the launch of the My Atrium and MyPlace apps for tenants and owners; the update of Atrium’s Business Plan; and the addition and induction of new Board members.

At a special meeting following the AGM, Joe Keen was re-elected as Chair for the coming year and Alistair Reid was confirmed as Vice-Chair.

The organisation has also bid farewell to two long serving board members as Jim O’Neill and Graham Piggott have tendered their resignations.  Atrium Homes said: “Both served as office bearers of Atrium during their time on the Board and both contributed enormously to the development of the organisation. Their knowledge, experience and contributions will be missed, and Atrium wishes them well.”
