At Changeworks, our ambition is to drive the decarbonisation of homes in Scotland. We believe in a just transition to net zero. With Scotland having some of the least energy-efficient homes in Europe and more people than ever in fuel poverty, working with registered social landlords to improve the energy efficiency of homes and providing energy advice to tenants has never been more important.

As co-sponsor of the SFHA’s Energy and Net Zero Conference, we are looking forward to re-connecting with and meeting new members of the SFHA at the conference.

Josiah Lockhart, Changeworks’ Chief Executive, will be opening speaker, and we are holding two workshops:

Heat Network Zoning and opportunities for Social Landlords through a place-based approach

Stephen Strachan, Principal Consultant and Kris Martin, Senior Data Consultant at Changeworks, will look at the forthcoming national and local government plans as part of Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategies (LHEES) to designate heat zones and the opportunities for social landlords to collaborate and get involved at an early stage through a place-based approach.

Evaluating Retrofit Projects, addressing the performance gap

Lauren Salmon, Principal Consultant and Joanna Long, Senior Impact Evaluation Consultant at Changeworks will draw on real projects, explore how performance is measured, and share learnings about the importance of evidencing project impact with a view to maximising future investments and securing additional funding.

We look forward to seeing you there.
