Crisis and the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) are undertaking research to explore and understand current practices and issues affecting social housing allocations in Great Britain. The research is being done in collaboration with SFHA and Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Associations, and you can read more about it on the Crisis website.

As part of the research, housing associations and co-operatives across Scotland are being asked to complete an online survey. The survey comprises 12 main questions with follow ups and asks about:

  • allocation policies
  • your experiences of working with local authorities
  • the impact of Covid on allocations alongside other policy
  • welfare and resource challenges housing associations may have recently encountered.

The survey is an opportunity to have your say on this important issue, and will help us have a range of perspectives alongside those of local authorities and other stakeholders. SFHA, GWSF, Crisis and CaCHE would be extremely grateful if you are able to take part.

Please complete the survey by 18 November

The research will be published in the new year.
