The Scottish Government plans to launch its consultation this week on “Enhancing the accessibility, adaptability and usability of Scotland’s homes.”
The consultation will seek views on the review of the Housing for Varying Needs design guide, and on changes to buildings standards and guidance to implement an all-tenure Scottish Accessible Homes Standard.
The consultation will be available via the Citizen Space portal, and will be open until week commencing 16 October 2023. Details of online events to support the consultation will be available via the Citizen Space portal and we will discuss the consultation at the next SFHA Health, Care and Independent Living Forum for members on 1 August 2023.
