Fife Housing Group celebrated the artistic talents of two young tenants after siblings Ada, aged one, and Arlo, aged eight, from Dunfermline were chosen as the winners of their inaugural Children’s Christmas Card Competition.

The competition invited children and grandchildren of Fife Housing Group tenants to get creative with their most festive ideas. Entries brought plenty of colour and Christmas cheer and colleagues had a hard time judging the fantastic range of drawings, paintings and imaginative designs submitted.

Ada and Arlo’s winning artwork featured a handprint reindeer, Santa flying on his sleigh and a string of twinkly Christmas lights. Their design has now been used as Fife Housing Group’s official Christmas design for 2025. The pair also received a pack of cards showcasing their creation, along with a special festive prize to mark their achievement.

Colleagues were delighted to welcome the siblings and their mum, Carly, to the office to collect their prize. Their visit was a lovely opportunity to congratulate them in person and to celebrate the effort they had put into their winning design.

The competition has been a highlight of the festive season and a brilliant way for young people to share their creativity and celebrate the run-up to Christmas.

The social landlord is also running a festive photo competition for the adults, as well as two Christmas events to spread some cheer ahead of the big day.
