A University of Glasgow PhD researcher will be studying the compatibility of carbon reduction and fuel poverty policies in Scotland and the impact of the transition to low carbon heating on tenants living in the social rented sector. The research will include interviews with key members of staff involved in low carbon heat projects and households changing heating supply or moving to a new property.

Does your organisation have plans to carry out a retrofit or newbuild heat decarbonisation project within the next year? Or has your organisation carried out a recent retrofit or newbuild project that includes installing low carbon heating source(s) in some of your properties? Would you be interested in taking part in this research? If so, or for more information, please contact Amanda Kean at a.kean.1@research.gla.ac.uk
