Energy Saving Trust offers support towards the cost of buying and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at factored developments in Scotland.

The funding is available for people who manage communal parking for residential properties, known as a property manager or property factor.

Property factors can apply for up to 50% of the cost of buying and installing charging infrastructure for the residential property.

About the scheme

Transport Scotland has made grant funding available to property factors through Energy Saving Trust to support the uptake of EVs across Scotland.

This funding helps people living in factored developments to have better access to EV charging by covering up to 50% of the cost of buying and installing charging infrastructure in residential communal parking areas.

Only property factors and other organisations that manage communal parking for residential properties can submit applications for funding. This includes organisations that manage and maintain land or property owned by more than one homeowner.
