SFHA members are encouraged to submit responses for the January to April 2023 period
Thank you for your ongoing participation in SFHA’s Social Security and Financial Wellbeing Survey. The latest survey covering the January to April 2023 period will close next week (Friday 7 July 2023) and can be accessed here.
The information gathered through the survey plays a vital role in informing our conversations with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and our wider lobbying activities, including engagement with civil servants, and elected politicians in Holyrood and Westminster on poverty and social security issues.
The survey was launched last year as an update to the previous Universal Credit Survey with changes made to reflect feedback from members. This included reducing the number of questions, moving to a quarterly reporting cycle and advertising in our newsletter to reach a broader audience.
The more respondents we have, the more useful these comparisons will be and the better we can represent our members' views and interests. However, we have still had a declining number of participants and a very limited response to the most recent survey.
There is still time to contribute to the January to April 2023 period however we may look to stop the data collection and take a different approach going forward if we have insufficient information to perform the required analysis.
Thank you again for your ongoing participation and contributions to the research to date. If you have any questions or comments on the survey, please contact Cassandra Dove, SFHA Policy Lead, at cdove@sfha.co.uk.
