On Tuesday 25 November, the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) is inviting its public sector partners to its office as it explores Scotland’s biggest compliance challenges and key factors to ensure organisational compliance, with fire safety experts, Global HSE and international law firm Addleshaw Goddard.

The event is free for all public sector partners to join and will provide clear guidance on how Single Building Assessments, PFI handovers and the Defective Premises Act can be approached to ensure compliance with regulations and create safer buildings for occupants and support critical requirements.

Here’s what you can expect from this event.

  • Understand the requirements of the Single Building Assessment (SBA) and ensure compliance with the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Act 2024.
  • Discover how latent defects and defective premises are costing organisations millions of pounds and gain an in-depth understanding of both practical knowledge and legal perspectives.
  • Ensure asset integrity and fire compliance during the PFI handover to manage the impact on public service continuity, asset condition, and financial value.
  • How SPA can guide and inform the procurement process.

When and where?

Tuesday 25th November, 10am until 2pm

SPA Office, 6 Deer Park Avenue, Livingston, EH54 8AF
