SFHA’s Governance Conference, on 4 October, will explore the lessons learned from the pandemic and demonstrate how the social housing sector has emerged stronger on the other side, despite unprecedented challenges.

During the pandemic, SFHA formed the Social Housing Sector Resilience Group in conjunction with the Scottish Government and key stakeholders from across the sector. The group included the Scottish Housing Regulator as well as a number of social landlords that were able to share their direct experience. During the conference, we’ll reflect on their experience of the pandemic, what this has meant for governance and how this learning can be used moving forward.

It will also explore the regulator’s new focus on resilience and what this might mean for regulation.

Check out some of the other programme highlights:

  • Succession planning
  • Ensuring governance is understood in organisations
  • Not ‘one size fits all’
  • Stronger on the other side of intervention

Who should attend?

The conference will provide an opportunity for both staff and governing body members to network with peers from across the country, gain fresh ideas and hear different perspectives.
