'At Home with Children' research project
The 'At Home with Children' research project aims to learn from the challenges of lockdown to better understand what 'liveable' space means for families.
Newcastle University and the University of Dundee have launched a new research project to help understand what ‘liveable’ domestic space means for families with children, under pandemic conditions.
The research will explore what lessons can be learned from families’ lockdown experiences and how they can inform the ways we improve family homes. An online survey has now been launched (open until 30 June) to gather evidence that will help to evaluate standards for new housing in England and Scotland and inform urgent policy-making.
The researchers are looking to disseminate the survey as widely as possible to allow diverse voices to be heard. Further information about the project and an invitation which can be shared through any relevant channels can be found below.

Survey
If you spent lockdown at home with children under 18, the researchers would really value your input. The survey takes 10–15 mins to complete.
