Housing plans for St Aidans, Galashiels

Plans have been submitted for a new housing development right in the centre of Galashiels at St Aidans, offering 19 general needs apartments with car parking. This application would bring more much needed social rented housing for the local community which is a key focus for Eildon Housing Association.

This site has been derelict for many years so these plans will bring a corner of Galashiels back to life. As this proposal is in the very early stages, Eildon will be working closely with Scottish Borders Council on these proposals and will provide updates as plans progress, including on timescales.

This project is supported by the Scottish Government and Scottish Borders Council. The Design Team on the project is CSY Architects, Engineer - Bayne Stevenson Associates Ltd and Building Contractor - JR Group.
