Computacenter web portal migration

As previously communicated, Computacenter is migrating its current Connect web portal to a new and improved web shop, TechSource, for the Scottish Procurement IT Peripherals framework. The Computacenter Customer Management Team has started contacting customers to begin the migration process.

TechSource access

To gain access to the new web shop, please contact the Customer Management Team at MB.UK_GTS_PublicSectorScotland@computacenter.com

The team will arrange access by providing a login ID and password. From week commencing 27 September, users accessing the current Connect site will be redirected to a landing page, advising them to contact the Customer Management Team for a new user ID and password.

Webinars

Computacenter is running a series of webinars to provide additional information. The next webinar will run on Wednesday 22 September at 14:00.

To book your place on a webinar or for further dates, please contact techsourcesupport@computacenter.com

Support

For those organisations that have not participated in the migration programme, the new TechSource web shop will run in parallel alongside Connect during September 2021. This will ensure that customers experience minimal disruption.

The Customer Management Team is available via MB.UK_GTS_PublicSectorScotland@computacenter.com

There is also a mailbox set up should you have any questions. Please contact: TechSource.migrations@computacenter.com. A video demonstration is available at https://youtu.be/CuLmKKI95U4 which will provide a useful overview of the new system.

HP UK inc. framework kick-off webinar

On Tuesday 14 September, the HP team hosted an overview of the new Mobile Client Devices framework and the product offerings and benefits for the Scottish public sector. The session presented the core and complementary devices on the new framework and introduced the new mobile workstation devices. HP’s service partner, Capito, summarised the service offerings available, including set-up, configuration and warehousing as part of the framework. HP’s Sustainability Manager, Mark Dempsey, discussed the framework’s environmental and sustainability benefits and how the framework devices have the latest energy-efficient technology which helps to reduce your organisation’s carbon footprint.

If you weren’t able to attend the session, a recording can be found here. Further events are planned and will be communicated via your HP Account Manager.

Guidance, buyers’ guides and framework documentation are all available from the Scottish Procurement Information Network group on Knowledge Hub.

If you have any questions about any of these updates, please contact the ICT Products team.
